'KOOPER'

Kooper is a 20 year old gaited Paso Fino who we adopted from the KY Equine Humane Society.  Kooper was a founder case with significant rotation. Along with EMS he also has PPID.  The KY Equine Humane Society was thrilled to find Kooper a track he could thrive on.  The first thing we did for Kooper was remove the steel shoes he arrived in to allow for maximum circulation within the hoof capsule.  Next, after careful assessment of his X-rays, we reshaped his hoof capsule over the next several trims into correct alignment with his P3.  

Kooper, not our biggest horse and certainly not our healthiest horse with his EMS  and endocrine challenges, but well endowed in the brio department;  is now living his best life as the Alpha in our herd!
